I grew up in Los Angeles, and as a child, aspired to be a sports artist. Seeing artists who showed their process and developed their own websites led me to my initial experience of web design. In middle school, I taught myself design tools, front-end languages, and launched my first website. Although my passion remained with illustration, from that point on, I had the heart of a designer.
In 2011, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue illustration at California of College of the Arts. During my sophomore year, I realized my approach to problem-solving and finding solutions drew parallels to design. My best illustrations were always process-driven, graphical, and had a clear understanding of the reader.
My most recent role focused on machine learning guided me to other passions for business, psychology, and discovery of the field of product design. I'm enthusiastic about undertaking complex problems with meaningful goals. Creating functional and enjoyable digital products by bringing my love for learning, understanding people, and collaborating with teams.
